Upload Complete! My Mind Is Blown After the San Diego Comic-Con Panel!

Oh my goodness, you guys, I’ve got to tell you all about something absolutely epic that just went down! If you know me, you know I’m a massive fan of Prime Video’s “Upload”. Seriously, that show just lives in my head rent-free, constantly making me ponder the big questions about life, death, and what it truly means to be “alive” in a digital world. I mean, who hasn’t secretly wondered about uploading themselves to a swanky virtual afterlife like Lakeview, right? Just me? Okay, maybe not!

So, imagine my sheer delight when I heard about the “Prime Video: ‘Upload Complete’ Clips and Conversation with Greg Daniels and the Cast of Upload” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025! As you can probably guess, I was glued to every bit of news that came out of it, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

A Trip Down Memory Lane (and Into the Future!)

The panel, which happened on Friday, July 25th, in that ever-elusive Room 6DE (if you’ve ever navigated Comic-Con, you know the quest is real!), was an absolute treat. We had the brilliant mind behind it all, Greg Daniels himself (the genius who also gave us The Office and Parks and Rec – need I say more?), along with our beloved cast: Robbie Amell (Nathan), Andy Allo (Nora), Kevin Bigley (Luke), and Allegra Edwards (Ingrid).

Can you imagine being in that room? Just soaking up all the behind-the-scenes stories and hearing them reflect on what it’s been like to bring this incredibly unique world to life. It’s truly amazing how “Upload” manages to blend laugh-out-loud comedy with such profound, often philosophical, questions. I’ve personally lost hours just pondering the ethics of digital consciousness after watching an episode. They even talked about how the show has accidentally predicted some real-world tech advancements, which is just wild!

The Moment We’d All Been Waiting For… Season 4!

But let’s be real, while the reflections were fantastic, there was one thing everyone was absolutely buzzing about: Season 4! And boy, did they deliver!

Prime Video officially dropped a first-look clip and the key art for the upcoming fourth and final season! My jaw literally dropped when I heard about the clip. It features none other than Zainab Johnson’s Aleesha (who is just a treasure, by the way!) practicing some serious close-quarters combat skills. Apparently, she’s on a top-secret spy mission to infiltrate Horizon’s offices! Can you believe it?! Our Queen Aleesha, a secret agent! This hints that the final four episodes are going to be absolutely packed with action, romance, and some incredibly high stakes.

They confirmed that this final season is a “four-part series finale event,” and it sounds like our favorite characters are going to face their toughest challenges yet as they try to save humanity from deletion (because, you know, sentient AI turning evil is always a good plot point!).

And the best part? We now have a date! Mark your calendars, set your alarms, do whatever you need to do, because the four-part series finale event premieres all episodes on Monday, August 25, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video! That’s right, we’re less than a month away from finding out how Nathan, Nora, Luke, Aleesha, and even Ingrid’s stories conclude. I, for one, cannot wait to see how Greg Daniels, who always had a four-season arc in mind, brings everything to a truly satisfying close.

I’m telling you, the excitement for this final season is through the roof! I’m already making my plans for an “Upload” binge-watching party on August 25th. Who’s with me?! What are you most excited to see resolved in the final episodes? Drop your predictions in the comments below – I’d love to hear them!
