Marvel’s Thunderbolts Treatz Truck Rolls into SDCC — and It’s Dishing Out Chaos (and Ice Cream)*

Marvel Studios is cranking up the AC and the attitude this summer with a frosty, fan-fueled activation that’s as unhinged as its antihero squad. The Thunderbolts* Treatz Truck is officially en route to San Diego Comic-Con, serving up scoops of mischief — and it’s making its final pit stop right behind the Omni Hotel.

Timed to celebrate the digital drop of Thunderbolts (July 1) and its physical release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD (July 29), this ice cream truck is far from ordinary. Running Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27, it’s loaded with free treats, limited-edition swag, and a serving of redemption (or recklessness?) on the side.

Expect photo ops worthy of a black-ops mission gone rogue, with visuals hinting at what happens when you give a bunch of morally gray Marvel faves — like Yelena BelovaBucky Barnes, and Red Guardian — a second chance and a sugar rush.

Find the truck tucked along the MLK Promenade behind the Omni, just across from the Convention Center. And yes, there’s a themed menu — because even antiheroes deserve a dessert break.
